Shining Star-CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Adrianne was so suprized. She started crying.
"Is that a yes?" AJ asked.
"Yes!" Adrianne replied, "Yes Alex, I'll marry you."
AJ slipped the ring on Adrianne's finger and kissed her.
"Let's go tell everyone." Adrianne said.
"Ok" AJ replied, "Wait a sec, is alright if you get up?"
"Yeah" Adrianne said.
AJ helped Adrianne out of bed and the two of them walked down to the waiting room.
Brian, Nick, and Howie each took turns hugging Adrianne.
"Adrianne and I have somehing to tell you." AJ announced.
"We already know about the baby." Nick said.
"It's not that." Adrianne replied, "Alex and I are engaged!"
Everyone congratulated them.
Then, Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie argued over who was gonna get to be AJ's best man. Finally, AJ decided that each of them could be his best man.

Adrianne was released from the hospital the next day. Her and AJ went home. Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie promised to visit later.
AJ carried Adrianne into the ouse and up to their bedroom. She fell asleep just as her head hit the pillow. AJ layed next to Adrianne and rubbed his hand against her stomach. She looked so beautiful. He couldn't beleive he came so close to losing her.
A few hours later, Adrianne woke up. She heard AJ downstairs, so she went to see what he was doing.
"Hey baby." AJ said, kissing Adrianne on the cheek.
Adrianne wrapped her arms around AJ and kissed him passionatly.
"What was that for?" AJ asked.
"I dunno." Adrianne said, "I just felt like it."
AJ started kissing Adrianne's neck.
Suddenly, Adrianne pulled back. She got a strange look on her face.
"Are you ok?" AJ asked, "Is there something wrong with the baby?"
"I think I'm gonna throw up." Adrianne said. She ran into the bathroom.
She vomited for 10 minutes straight. AJ held Adrianne's hair back. Afterward, he wiped Adrianne's face with a cold wash cloth.
"Thanks." Adrianne said, "Sorry about that."
"You don't have to apologize." AJ replied, "It's ok. I love you and I'll always be here for you. I'm gonna help you through this whole thing."
After dinner, the phone rang.
"I'll get it!" Adrianne announced.
"Hello"
"Hi sweetie!"
"Hi Mom. How are you?"
"I'm wonderful. Kevin just told me the good news."
"He did?"
"Yes. Congratulations!"
"Thanks"
"Hold on a sec. Tim wants to say hi."
Tim got on the phone.
"Squirt!"
"Hi Tim"
"I can't beleive my little sister is gonna get married AND have a baby!"
"I'm not little Tim."
"I know you're not. I'm so happy for you Adrianne."
"Thanks"
"Your welcome."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure"
"Would you marry us?"
"Of course! I'd love to."
"Cool. Is Jerald there?"
"Yeah, hold on."
Jerald picked up the phone.
"Hi Adrianne! Congratulations!"
"Thanks Jerald."
"Just make sure AJ treats you right. Because if he doesn't, I'll beat him up!"
"He will. I promise."
"Madison's been bugging me all day. She wants to know if she can be your flower girl."
"Tell her I said yes."
"Great! She'll be so happy."
"Yeah"
"Well, I gotta go. I'll talk to ya later?"
"K. Love ya big bro"
"Love ya too lil sis"
Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie came over to Adrianne and AJ's house at 8:00pm.
Nick handed Adrianne a small white box.
"It's something for the baby." Nick said.
Adrianne opend it and inside was a tiny white tshirt that had Pooh on the front.
"Nicky!" Adrianne said, hugging Nick, "You're so sweet. Thank you."
The guys hung around for a couple of hours. Everyone sat around and ate popcorn. Adrianne pleaded with the guys to watch Dirty Dancing. Finally, they gave in.
Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie left at midnight.
AJ found Adrianne asleep on the couch. He layed next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
*EIGHT MONTHS LATER*
"ALEX!!!!!!!!!" Adrianne cried out as another contraction came on.
AJ held onto Adrianne's hand.
"It's ok." he said to her, "Everythings gonna be alright."
Adrianne looked at him, "Oh yeah? Well you try doing this. I hate you Alex! This is all your fault!!! You did this to me! OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!"
Adrianne had been in labor for about 7 hours so far. Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie all waited nervously in the waiting room. Adrianne's Mm and Tim and Jerlad were flying in.
After many contractions, AJ's hand was nearly broken.
After her worst contraction, Adrianne looked at AJ and said, "Alex....."
"What is it baby?" AJ asked.
Adrianne grabbed AJ by the shirt and yanked him closer to her, "YOU ARE NEVER TOUCHING ME AGAIN!!!!!! DO YOU HEAR ME??? I don't care how good looking you are."
Adrianne screamed out in pain.
"Ok Adrianne." the doctor said, "All you have to do is push one more time and the baby will be out."
"You can do it." AJ said.
Adrianne pushed as hard as she could. Finally, her and AJ heard their baby cry.
The doctor looked up at them and smiled, "It's a girl."
After cleaning her up, the nurses wrapped her in a pink blanket and handed her to Adrianne.
"She's so beautiful." AJ said with tears in his eyes, "She has your eyes Adrianne."
The baby started crying again.
"Yeah well she's got your mouth." Adrianne said, "What should we name her?"
AJ thought for a minute, "How about Angel?"
"Ok" Adrianne replied, "Angel Marie McLean."
Suddenly, Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie came in the room.
Adrianne laughed, "Angel, these 4 crazy guys are your uncles. Well, tecinically Brian is your 2nd cousin, but you can call him uncle too. Guys, this is Angel."
Ann, Jerlald, and Tim arrived 2 hours later.
"You've got 2 more uncles." Adrianne said to Angel. And that nice lady over there is your grandma."
Anne picked up Angel and rocked her back and forth, "I'm gonna spoil you like crazy."
After a few more minutes, everyone left. Leaving Adrianne, AJ, and Angel alone together.
AJ kissed Adrianne on the lips and said, "I love you."
AJ then took Angel in his arms and kissed her gently o top of the head, "I love you too."
At that moment, Adrianne and AJ were the happiest they had been in their lives. They looked down at the miracle they had brought into this world.
